Today we're going to talk two parts which are the design of the toothbrush and travel set. 

Why green trip?


     Tourism has became one of the major source in producing solid waste. The United Nations      Environment Programme (UNEP) estimates that 4.8 million tonnes, and 14% of all solid waste is produced solely by tourist in 2016. Hotels, restaurants and other facilities use a huge amounts of products, very often delivered and packed in personal single use plastic packaging. For example, small plastic shampoo and toothbrush in hotel rooms. Moreover, tourists’ lack of familiarity with differing waste systems, can lead to improper waste disposal, which can in turn lead to environmental problems such as groundwater or soil contamination and greenhouse gas emissions, among others. Thus, different experts came up with the idea of sustainable travel and green trip.

What's green trip?

    Green travel hones in on the environmental impact of travel businesses and consumers. Green travellers and travel companies seek to reduce the footprint of their efforts through a wide variety of activities that primarily fall under the 3 R’s: reduce, reuse, and recycle. Some definitions of green travel incorporate other aspects of ecotourism, such as respecting locals and their culture and supporting local economy, but the label typically refers to travel that is environmentally-conscious and low-impact.

How to be green during the trip?

1. Choose a green hotel
Select the green hotel which uses green sourcing like renewable energy, recycle, environmental friendly products.
2. Try to use Public transport, bike or walk  
Reduce your environmental impact, and also allow you to meet locals and experience a culture in a slower, more detailed way.



3. Avoid using disposable items
Prepare daily commodities for the trip, such as, toothbrush, bottle.

4. Eat locally sourced food
Support the region's farmers, get a more authentic taste of the cuisine and cut your carbon footprint even more.

Time to think about Bamboo toothbrush
